I could go on, and I’m sure you could too.

Here’s what you need: A solid gameplan for what technology you actually need, plus dozens of tech tutorials on how to use it all. You DON’T need to be a tech genius to start a blog. You just need to be a little patient.

You’re overwhelmed and distracted by the 10,000 things that seem to be involved with blogging

Believe me, I get this. It’s so easy to get lost in “all the things” at once.

You’ve got an email list everybody says you need to grow. You’ve got themes and plugins for the actual website. What about SEO? Facebook ads? And what the heck is going on with Instagram?

So yeah, I get it.

Here’s what you need: The confidence to follow a “first do this, then do that” proven and tested blogging strategy. Let someone else do some of the heavy lifting here. It’ll be worth it.

You don’t feel like enough of an “expert” to do this

This is the one that’s hardest to overcome because it’s so in engrained in your head.

But here’s the deal. Unless you’re blogging about something like law or medicine, you don’t need a degree in the subject. Or 20 years experience with it. Or any kind of “official” certificate pronouncing you an expert.

Here’s what you need: You just need to be a few steps ahead of your reader. Be honest about where you are in your journey with the topic. If you can help someone with their problem, who cares if you majored in Political Science, which has no use in the real world (maybe that’s just me).

You just don’t have the time

But blogging does NOT have to be the time suck it seems to be.

What if I’ve never done anything like this before?

WordPress.org (not .com). A lot of the concepts we’ll talk about, like how to write a great blog post or how to optimize for Google rankings, are transferable to any platform. But all of the tech lessons will be on WordPress, so if you’re on a different platform (and don’t want to switch) then this might not be the right fit for you. Are there any prerequisites or specific skills required to benefit from this course?

Nope! This course assumes no prior knowledge on anything we talk about.

How much time is required to complete the course?
